Ledsham Parish

Ledsham is an idyllic village located within West Yorkshire. It boasts the oldest church in the county (8th century Anglo Saxon 670 AD) and a true community spirit which has supported its local Fayre for over 50 years.

The Parish includes Ledston, Ledston Luck & Fairburn. This beautiful village retains its distinctive rural heritage, with a mix of traditional buildings and residential properties, arable farming and open fields with animals grazing.

Ledsham Fayre is usually held annually, on the first Saturday in September. The local cricket field plays host to stalls, refreshments and entertainment, buzzing with up to 5,000 visitors on a sunny Fayre day.

2017 & Beyond...

There will be no longer be a Ledsham Fayre

Due to an ageing committee and several members feeling they are unable to continue after 50 years of service we are reduced to an unsustainable level which resulted in there being no Fayre in 2017.

After a meeting on 9th January 2017, there were no volunteers to take up the running of the show. This has inevitably meant there will not be a Fayre in its current form in the foreseeable future. We are very sad to see our Fayre come to an end.

If you feel strongly about this and believe you can help resurrect the Fayre, you can contact the Parish Council.
