Welcome

Ledsham is an idyllic village location in West Yorkshire. It boasts the oldest church in the county (8th century Anglo Saxon 670 AD) and a true community spirit which has supported its local Fayre for over 50 years. The Parish includes Ledston, Ledston Luck & Fairburn. This beautiful village retains its distinctive rural heritage, with a mix of traditional buildings and residential properties, arable farming and open fields with animals grazing.
The famous Fairburn Ings Nature Reserve is just a short walk away.

The local cricket field is one of the locations for the Fayre offering stalls, refreshments,
and also stages the main events, buzzing with up to 5,000 visitors on a sunny Fayre day. The main street is lined with traditional thatched street stalls selling home made gifts & other products, and hosts attractions and displays to keep the crowds entertained throughout the day.

Ledsham Fayre is held annually on the first Saturday in September, so please visit this beautiful location, enjoy the day and also perhaps sample a cool glass of hand pulled at the local hostelry The Chequers Inn.
